Chapter 340: I Think He’s an Idiot
Chapter 340: I Think He’s an Idiot
Shirley Moss was crying her heart out.
She hadn’t even come to her senses when Florence Locke pulled her up, looking at Florence through teary eyes.
When Ryan Sinclair heard Florence Locke’s words, he was like a mouse that had its tail stepped on: "This matter is already in the past!"
He looked at Florence Locke with cold and fierce eyes: "These things have nothing to do with you, you’d better leave before I lose my temper!"
"Who the hell do you think you are, talking to me like that!"
Florence Locke had always been held in high regard and had never been looked down upon like this.
Especially not by someone she couldn’t stand at this moment. Before Julian Sinclair could react, Florence Locke approached and delivered a karate chop to Ryan Sinclair’s neck, knocking him out cold.
Thea Shaw: "..."
Ah, well...
Julian Sinclair didn’t intervene; he seemed a bit helpless but didn’t blame Florence Locke, just stood there silently.
Now, Ryan Sinclair wasn’t even regarded as a person in Florence Locke’s eyes. If Julian Sinclair were to defend him, he’d probably be ousted as well.
Florence Locke was about to take Shirley Moss away; the originally heartbroken Shirley Moss only reacted when she saw Florence Locke knock out Ryan Sinclair, momentarily stunned she asked, "You... did you know me before?"
Florence Locke didn’t answer, just pulling her: "Come out and answer some questions for me."
Florence Locke pulled Shirley Moss outside, while Julian Sinclair had to stay in the ward to watch over Ryan Sinclair.
Thea Shaw glanced at the unconscious Ryan Sinclair and curiously asked Julian Sinclair: "With your brother like this, won’t the Vanguard Group be finished?"
Julian Sinclair shrugged: "He may be an ass, but there’s nothing wrong with his intelligence."
Thea Shaw: "..."
Thea Shaw asked: "So what’s the deal with Miss Moss?"
It sounded like a dramatic story, but curiosity always gets the better of people.
Thea Shaw thought Julian Sinclair wouldn’t answer, but to her surprise, he pondered for a bit and still gave a brief explanation.
It turns out Miss Moss used to be a wealthy heiress, but unfortunately, after meeting Ryan Sinclair, nothing good happened.
Ryan Sinclair had a previous girlfriend who got into trouble, hit someone with her car, and initially framed Shirley Moss for it. Ryan Sinclair didn’t know the truth at first and forced Shirley Moss to plead guilty and go to prison.
Shirley Moss was wrongfully imprisoned for five years because of it.
The news media even reported on this incident. Her father’s company was implicated and shares plummeted. Her father couldn’t accept the stain on his daughter’s life and committed suicide by jumping off a building.
Shirley Moss’s mother also took her life in depression, and she had a sister still alive, but since the Moss Family’s downfall, life has been tough.
Shirley Moss was recently released, and never imagined Ryan Sinclair still had the gall to bring her back as his secretary.
After serving time, no employer would likely hire her, and Ryan Sinclair even thought he was doing a good deed.
Goddamn, no decent person would do such a heartless thing...
This shows Ryan Sinclair truly isn’t a human.
Thea Shaw glanced at Ryan Sinclair and then at Julian Sinclair, "Do you have deep feelings for your brother?"
Julian Sinclair answered very coldly: "Half-brother, no feelings."
Thea Shaw: "I think you should talk to your dad about changing the heir. Although you said his intelligence is fine, I still think he’s a moron. I want to stab him a couple of times on Shirley Moss’s behalf just from hearing this."
Julian Sinclair: "..."
